Interact with this content, rather than just be a viewer,” Yaw said. The Olympic Pulse project is a nice vote of confidence for the young firm and for other startups in the area, Yaw said.”Hopefully it will help Boulder and Colorado get put a little bit higher on the tech scene,” she said. “I think it’s kind of a kudos for Boulder, as well as Colorado.”It also is another example of the growth of social media and its complementary relationship to marketing and to sports, said Adam Ostrow, editor in chief of social media blog Mashable.”Certain athletes like Chad Ochocinco have totally changed their perception by the way they engage with fans,” Ostrow said in an e mailed response to questions from the Camera. “Meanwhile, the NHL is leveraging social media to help build awareness for the game of hockey and creating ways for fans to become further engaged offline.”The Olympic Pulse could be providing something unique in that it will feature athletes that are not as well known as some NBA and NFL stars, he added.”The Pulse is going to give these athletes a lot more exposure, and give the public a glimpse into their lives, which for the most part, are a lot less glamorous than the multi millionaire athletes that already have hundreds of thousands of followers on Twitter,” he said.Font ResizeReturn to TopWe reserve the right to remove any comment that violates our ground rules, is spammy, NSFW, defamatory, rude, reckless to the community, etc.We expect everyone to be respectful of other commenters.
Our players have worked hard. We looking forward to having a great fall camp.I think, again, I said earlier that our fall camp is probably going to be the most important that we had since we been there because a lot of challenges are going to get answered realistically in how our team progresses in these two or three weeks of fall camp before our first game against San Jose State. We have a difficult schedule playing Penn State this year, as well as, you know, Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee in the east. I think that every team in the west is going to be better than they were a year ago in our estimation.Really looking forward to the challenge of the season.
